Bronze Lean Leader Certification Program

Neovista’s Bronze Lean Leader Certification Program was developed in 2007 to address the needs of lean practitioners for comprehensive, high-quality training in the science and art of continuous improvement using lean tools and principles. Participants learn the universally-applicable tools and methods of Lean Thinking while they develop the principle-based team leadership skills essential to building cultures of continuous improvement.

The program combines high intensity classroom instruction, hands on learning, and engaging group activities into four weeks of learning. This is our flagship offering. We have designed shorter courses and compact curricula to suit specific client needs. Some or all of the curriculum can be delivered remotely.

To ensure a portable, globally-recognized certification that is consistent across all industries and functions, the Bronze Lean Leader Program has been aligned to the internationally recognized Lean Certification standard jointly developed and maintained by AME, the Shingo Institute, and SME.

The program uses the Lean Body of Knowledge as the basis for its curriculum, and the Lean Bronze Knowledge Exam – the gateway to full Lean Bronze Certification – is used as a knowledge assessment instrument.

Silver Lean Leader Certification Program

The Silver Lean Leader Certification Program develops lean practitioners functioning at the value stream / integrative / cross-functional level.  Silver practitioners plan, lead, and direct mid-level, department-spanning improvement activities.  They advise senior leaders and train, coach, and develop others as part of a comprehensive organizational lean transformation effort.  Participants in this program focus on advanced problems and techniques of flowing value to customers, building lean organizational systems across various product and service delivery processes, and developing the principle-based leadership skills needed to proactively build cultures of continuous improvement.

Lean Bronze Knowledge Exam Prep Course

A great way to start your lean journey is to attend this collaborative, two-day review program. The instructor-led program provides an excellent foundation for completing the certification program. The interactive, group review of tactical lean principles helps solidify your understanding of the Lean Body of Knowledge and key lean concepts, while helping you prepare for the exam. In addition, you will gain solid understanding of the portfolio requirements.

Study materials for this course are the Bronze Certification recommended readings. These are the same references you will use in your open-book Lean Bronze Knowledge Exam. Attendees must purchase and read these materials prior to the prep course, and bring them to use during the review.

This course is scheduled based on customer demand. If you are interested in leading or attending a classroom review program, please contact us.
