What We Believe
Our Values
We are not a consulting firm that ‘does lean’. We are a lean firm that offers consulting. That is more than a catchy marketing turn of phrase; It is how we think and work.
Lean is more than a bag of efficiency tools. Today, lean is best understood as a philosophy for seeing the world, and for guiding thinking and behaviors. Lean is what our practice was built on, and it is how we continue to work today. We operate according to lean principles in general, and we hold the Values below in particular regard. In our work with you, we will strive to always conduct ourselves in alignment with them.
We hope you will choose us as your trusted advisors. And we hope to work most often with clients who appreciate these Values, and who share them with us.
Knowledge Transfer
Some consulting firms seem to sustain their business by making customers dependent on them. It feels like you are always on the hook for something held back, or you are being upsold on more service.
At Neovista, our aim is to help you build daily routines that deliver performance excellence. Which means doing things on your own - without external support.
To some, we are a paradox. We work to make ourselves obsolete. Our goal is to make you self-reliant at your target level of new capability. We will be there if you come back to us for help getting to the next level. We are confident you will.
Learn by Doing
A lot of our work gets done a classroom. But make no mistake: Listening and reading is not learning; its knowledge gathering. Changing theory into practical action is where real learning happens. Learning comes from doing. We understand this, and we will work closely with you to design rapid cycles of learn-and-do around our classroom theory and tabletop exercises.
Engaged Leaders
Neovista helps groups at every stage of their Lean Journey. These efforts often start small, with modest local projects. But performance excellence demands more radical transformation. And that, in turn, demands leader transformation. We are experienced in lean leadership, and ready to support supervisors to C-level execs in exploring, embracing, and mastering new leadership skills.
People-Centric
Some think ‘lean’ is about waste elimination. Its better to see lean as about value creation. The waste-centric approach often misdirects efforts toward reducing headcount, or making employees struggle more. Lean is about investing in the problem-solving capacity of your people, and making the work you do for customers easier, faster, simpler, clearer, more hassle-free and rewarding to do. In lean, everyone wins: customers, company, colleagues, and community. We can show you how.
